From I-25, take the Central Avenue, Martin Luther King Blvd. or Lomas Boulevard exits east to the University. It is less than 1 mile to University Avenue, the western edge of the campus.

Visitor Parking On Campus
- Yale Parking Structure (new!) is close by, just to the north of Zimmerman and Parish libraries.
- From Lomas Blvd west bound,, go south on Yale Blvd. Parking structure will be on your left.
- From Lomas Blvd. east bound, go past Yale Blvd. and entrance to Yale parking structure will be immediately on your right.
- $1.75 / hour. Credit cards via pay station only.
- Cornell Visitor Parking Structure is near Central Ave. & Stanford Dr. $1.75 / hour. Attendant or pay station, cash or credit card.
- Visitor pay station parking (formerly meters) by credit card only, $1.75 / hour. 1) Immediately behind Zimmerman Library on Roma St., 2) in parking lot along Las Lomas Ave near corner of Las Lomas and University, 3) along Buena Vista and Roma streets near Scholes Hall. . These are free on weekends, and after 8pm weekdays.
- Temporary permits are available at Parking & Transportation Services (SW corner of Central & University Avenues), $8 / day or $24 / /week.
Visitor Parking Near Campus
- Private Pay Parking Lots. A small number of inexpensive private lots are along Yale Ave., 1-2 blocks south of Central Ave. There is also a private pay lot on University Ave., between Central and Martin Luther King Blvd.
- Parking meters. Central Ave. and several side streets near Central have a limited number of parking meters.
- Street parking is restricted to resident permits only, weekdays until 6pm, in the neighborhoods nearest UNM..
On Campus Shuttle
Visitors traveling between main and north campus may use the Redondo shuttle bus that circles main campus and goes north to the UNM Law School and the Health Sciences Center. (Map)
