We believe, as an extended university or distance education student, you require the same resources and services as a student on the "Main" (Albuquerque) campus. Use the University Libraries website to access all Library services and resources. Using the available technology, we have brought the library to your desktop. You will be able to search for books, periodical articles, government documents, as well as additional research that may be relevant to your subject area. You will find links to Instruction and Research Help, Ask a Librarian, Interlibrary Loan, and Reserves.
The Library subscribes to many indexes and databases which are available to UNM Main (Albuquerque) Campus students, staff and faculty. If you are connecting to our web pages through the UNM service provider (using the UNM dialups) all resources are automatically available. If you are connecting through a private Internet Service Provider, like AOL or Comcast, you will automatically be connected through the proxy server. You will be asked for your UNM NetID and Password. (This remote access is available only to students identified as a "Main" campus student.)
