Every student with a valid Lobo Card at UNM receives a $10 printing credit on their Lobo Card at the start of each semester.
According to our data most students will never have to pay to print again.

Where can I use my printing credit?
Your $10 printing credit can be used in any of the four central campus library branches: Zimmerman, Fine Arts & Design, Parish and Centennial, and the Health Sciences Library and Informatics Center and IT PODS. Sorry, the Law Library has e a different system so your credit cannot be used there.
How many pages can I print with $10.
Printing costs in the library are currently 5 cents per single-side page and 8 cents per double-sided page;
which is about 250 pages.
Can I use the credit other places?
No, you won’t be able to use the printing credit on your LoboCard to buy Starbucks coffee or shop in the bookstore. You can only use it to pay for printing and copying.
If I don’t use all my credit will it stay on my Lobo Card after the semester is over?
If you don’t use all your printing credits during the semester they will roll over to the next semester.
What happens when I have used up my $10?
If you use up your $10 credit before the next credit is given you can either buy a library copy/print card or if you have a cash balance on your Lobo Card you can use that. Lobo Cash can be added online using a credit card at http://lobocard.unm.edu or you can add cash by visiting the Lobo Card office in the Student Union Building.
Why doesn’t my $10 credit show up when I check my Lobo Cash balance at lobocard.unm.edu?
You don’t have time to read the real answer to this question. Let's just say it's one of those unfathomable technology things. But even though you can’t see it - it's there. In fact when you release a job at one of the Xerox machines the balance you see on the screen is your Lobo Cash balance AND your print copy credit combined.
