Congressional Universe offers access to a variety of information by and about the United States Congress. With Congressional Universe, you can:

• Search indexes of congressional publications from 1789 to the present
• Retrieve CIS Legislative Histories for public laws going back to 1970
• Find testimony from congressional hearings
• Track bills as they move through the House and Senate
• Search the Congressional Record
• Locate information about members and committees
• Full text of U.S. Congressional Serial Set and American State Papers (1789-1969: database to be completed by Dec. 2005)

Remote access for UNM affiliated users to Congressional Universe from an off-campus or non-UNM dialup connection (such as AOL, Flasnet, etc.) is available with a valid UNM NetID/user account. Visit known problems if you have difficulty accessing this information.
