Folders contain miscellaneous clippings of articles relating to the Pueblo Indians. Articles deal with a variety of topics including reaction of Taos Pueblo to an eclipse of the sun and an Isleta hunting trip. Also included is an unrelated typscript of a paper entitled "The Museum as a Living Force in Education and Culture" and "New Mexico Folk Songs", by Charles Lummis 1892. Three small envelopes contain Birch Bark Poems, 1880 by Charles F. Lummis and copies of vol. 1 and 2 of Birch Bark Poems, 1883.

Folders consis of the personal correspondence of Charles F. Lummis from March 1891 to January 1912. Bulk of the material is dated 1910 and 1911. Correspondence is to family members, publishers, friends and colleagues (among others R. E. Twitchell, Adolph Bandelier, John Muir, Ernest T. Seton, and Frank Springer.
