The Making of America

• With over 2 million pages of scanned images and text from more than 9,000 volumes, The Making of America -- initiated by the University of Michigan and Cornell -- "represents a major collaborative endeavor to preserve and make accessible through digital technology a significant body of primary sources related to development of the U.S. infrastructure."
