Projects
- Student Employment Automation Project -Collaborated with UL Interim Dean and Employee Resources Manager to automate the UL student employment process. Both hiring managers and student employees will benefit as it will allow students to learn about University Libraries, view current openings and job descriptions, and submit applications electronically.
- History of Centennial Science and Engineering Library web page - Created a web page about the history of Centennial Science and Engineering Library. Visitors to Centennial’s web site will get more background information on its inception, facility (past and present), challenges, and other interesting facts.
- Media Marketing Tool Project - Created a visual marketing tool for the Marketing Committee to promote University Libraries and its research programs.
- ARL Statistics Project - Worked with colleagues to identify data (coding and re-coding) to accurately produce statistics for ARL and to produce consistency for reporting data between University Libraries and UNM’s Law Library, and Health Sciences Library and Informatics Center.
- University Libraries Resident Program web page - * Developed a web page about the University Libraries Residency program that assists in the marketing of the program and to educate the UNM community and others about the program goals, accomplishments, and mission.
Highlights
- Assisted with training at Eastern New Mexico University, Roswell, NM, in Millennium's cataloging and acquisition modules. Also also assisted with training at the University of New Mexico, Taos in basic and advanced cataloging.
- Shadowed the Associate Dean, Assistant Dean for Research and Instruction Services, Assistant Dean for Content Acquisition and Access Services. Attended key committee and governance meetings. Highlights included: Discussion session and presentation of Brian Hosmer, Director of the D'Arcy McNickle Center for American Indian History at the Newberry Library of Chicago and the Library Faculty Senate Committee meeting.
- Conducted research for the Dean, University Libraries, to support her speaking engagements, research interests, including an annotated bibliography for a delegation visiting China.
