Services for Visitors from other Educational & Research Institutions
Free borrowing privileges are extended to:
- Faculty, staff and students with a current ID from a member of the New Mexico Consortium of Academic Libraries (NMCAL) who have a valid Library Passport Certificate.
- Students can get a Passport Certificate from their home Library and present the certificate with a photo ID at the Circulation Desk in a UL Branch Library to be issued a community borrowers card valid for one semester.
- Faculty, with proper identification and an Online Computer Library Center, Inc. Reciprocal Borrowers Card issued by an institution that is a member of the OCLC Reciprocal Faculty Borrowing Program.
- Individuals with a valid Albuquerque Public Library Access Agreement Form will be issued a community borrowers card valid for one month.
- CNM faculty, staff and students who have a current verifiable CNM library account and a valid CNM ID are eligible for a "Community Borrowers" good till the end of the current semester
- Faculty, staff and students at participating Greater Western Library Alliance (GWLA)institutions ( see http://gwla.org for list) are eligible for a Community Borrowers card good till the end of the current semester upon presentation of a valid current ID from their home institution.
