Books
LIBROS is the online library
catalog of the University Libraries. It provides access to books, journals,
maps, microforms, sound recordings, videos, and similar items owned by the
UNM Libraries and other New Mexico member institutions. Materials that are
not located in the Library Catalog (LIBROS) can be
requested through InterLibrary
Loan.
To search for books by subject using LIBROS, choose Subject, and use terms from the Library of Congress Subject Headings such as the following:

They also provide labor research guides for globalization, employee ownership, labor culture, employee rights, temporary workers, union organizing, and labor information resources.

- New Mexico Department of Workforce Solutions Information on the labor market, job outlook by occupation, wage and salary surveys, and the monthly Labor Market Review. Also provided are a job-seekers guide and services for employers.

- Workplace Issues Today Current news stories on workplace issues, selected from major newspapers.
- Bureau of Labor Statistics - U.S. Department of Labor Current and historical labor statistics, including employment, unemployment, consumer price index, average hourly wages, wages by area and occupation, employee benefits, labor costs, and employee injuries. Labor statistics will be changing to the Standard Occupational Classification (SOC) system, with a staggered implementation schedule (2000-2005).
- Current Population Survey Monthly survey of about 50,000 households provides estimates for U.S. labor data, including employment, unemployment, earnings, and hours of work. Data are available by occupation, industry, and class of workers, as well as by demographic characteristics including age, sex, race, ethnicity, marital status, and education. The CPS also provides a detailed annual income survey.
