The Library Catalog (LIBROS) provides location information for books, journals, maps, microforms, sound recordings, videos, and similar items owned by the UNM Libraries and other New Mexico member institutions. Materials that are not located in the Library Catalog (LIBROS) can be requested through InterLibrary Loan. Consult the Call Number Locations guide for the location of your book or government publication, found at the Reference Desk, near the LIBROS terminals, and elsewhere in Zimmerman Library.

The Government Information Department has the publications of the Federal Communications Commission, transcripts of international broadcasts from the Foreign Broadcast Information Service, Congressional hearing reports and other resources relevant to the study of communication and journalism. More information is available at the Government Information desk in the lower level of Zimmerman Library.

None of the journals or microforms sent for cleaning and restoration will be returned until the basement can be re-opened. Please use Interlibrary Loan to request copies of articles from these publications. ILL is only available to UNM students, faculty and staff.
