Books
LIBROS is the online library
catalog of the University Libraries. It provides access to books, journals,
maps, microforms, sound recordings, videos, and similar items owned by the
UNM Libraries and other New Mexico member institutions. Materials that are
not located in the Library Catalog (LIBROS) can be
requested through InterLibrary
Loan.

- Produced by New Mexico State University Library. Excellent compilation of information resources for Latin America. Continually expanded and updated. Extensive Mexican and U. S. Border focus.
- UT-LANIC: Latin American Network Information Center
- Created by the University of Texas-Austin Institute for Latin American Studies. Best gateway for providing access to academic databases, worldwide information services and internet sites on and from Latin America.
- International Labour Organisation (ILO)
- The ILO is a specialized agency of the United Nations with the mandate to promote satisfactory work and pay conditions and adequate employment opportunities.
- International Monetary Fund (IMF)
- The IMF is a multinational organization of 182 member- nations that was established in 1945. It facilitates monetary cooperation among its members and a multilateral system of payments.
- United Nations Conference on Trade and Development(UNCTAD)
- With 188 member nations, UNCTAD promotes international trade to stimulate economic growth of developing countries by implementing favorable trade policies.
- World Bank
- The World Bank information server provides access to selected World Bank publications, including environmental data sheets, economic reports on many countries, and national environmental action plans.
- Caribbean Community and Common Market (CARICOM)
- Created in 1973, replacing the Caribbean Free Trade Association founded in 1965. Main focus is upon economic integration, by means of a Caribbean Common Market.
- Economic Commission for Latin America and the Caribbean (ECLAC/CEPAL)
- One of the five regional economic commissions of the U.N. Founded in 1948 to co-ordinate policies for economic development in Latin America and the Caribbean.
- Instituto Nacional de Estadística Geografía e Informática (INEGI)
- INEGI is Mexico's official statistical agency. This site provides basic statistical and geographic information on the economic and social sectors of Mexico.
- Inter-American Development Bank (IADB)
- Founded in 1959 to promote economic development of member countries through financing of economic and social development projects and the provision of technical assistance.
- Institute for the Integration of Latin America and the Caribbean (INTAL/BID)
- Created by an agreement between the Inter-American Development Bank and the Government of Argentina. Promotes regional integration through studies, training and assists the region's governments in bringing the private sector and NGO's into its integration poicy deliberation.
- Latin Focus
- This excellent site contains the latest news and commentary, categorized by country and presented both in English and Spanish. Sources include Reuters, La Nación, and Bloomberg. Includes daily exchange rates and economic indicators. The monthly LatinFocus Consensus Forecast includes economic forecasts, market analysis, and political risk assessments.
- Organization of American States (OAS)
- Founded in 1948 to succeed the International Union of American Republics. Fosters peace, security, mutual understanding and co-operation among nations of Western Hemisphere.
- Guide to Electronic Resources for Mexican Law
- Click on 'Guide to MexLaw Web Sites'. A collection of Internet resources from the United States and Mexico focusing on laws of Mexico. Listings include government agencies, academic institutions, international organizations, and commercial sites. From the University of San Diego School of Law.
