There was one meeting with the Access Services project team members and representatives from UNM Workstation Management and Student Life to discuss a common base line computer image for the UL, IT-PODS, and for Student Life Labs. This meeting was followed by an additional meeting with Access Services to establish specific needs for UL Student/Public use computers.
The first three trainings for the CSP employees, ILL employees, and PML 24 hr. employees are set. Please refer to the schedule for times and locations. We will update changes and additions as the information becomes available.
We are currently working on migration instructions to assist you in identifying what files you will need to backup or prepare for a move to Windows 7 or possibly a new PC. All employees will need to back up files regardless of receipt of new hardware or retaining the same equipment. Please remember to back up your personal multimedia files (non-work related music and movies, for example) prior to your department's transition to Windows 7.
