Using CSWR Collections
The Anderson Reading Room is the access point for all materials held in the Center for Southwest Research and Special Collections. The room is located on the first floor in the historic west wing of Zimmerman Library. The collections are housed in closed stacks from which a staff member will retrieve your materials.
Please note that appointments are not required and materials may not be requested in advance of your visit. Retrieval time is generally less than ten minutes.
Free self-service scanning is available. Please bring a USB drive with you to save any scan you make in the Anderson Reading Room. For information on other duplication services, please check with the archivist on duty.
The CSWR serves a wide range of students and researchers from throughout New Mexico, the U.S., and the world.
